LEWISBURG, Pa. - Eighteen Bucknell football players earned a position on the Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll, announced by the league office recently.

The Bison's 19 honorees ranked second in the Patriot League. Georgetown paced the conference with 32 selections, while Holy Cross was third with 16. Fordham (14), Lehigh (12), Colgate (8) and Lafayette (7) rounded out the list. A total of 107 football players appeared on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Bucknell has placed at least 16 student-athletes on the Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll in every year since 1999. Overall, the Bison have had 274 players named to the Academic Honor Roll since its inception in 1990.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
