LEWISBURG, Pa. - Less than a month after stepping onto the field for the first of its 15 spring practice sessions, the Bucknell football team will conclude its spring with its annual spring game on Saturday night. The contest will kick off at 8 p.m. inside Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.

Bison head coach Joe Susan has divided up the team into an Orange squad and a Blue squad and assigned members of the coaching staff to each team. The game will be played with a few modified rules, including the offensive linemen shifting back and forth between the Orange and Blue teams.

Other Spring Game Rules:
• Four 15-minute quarters of running clock
• Final two minutes of each half will be normal clock rules
• Initial possession and possessions after scores will begin at the 30-yard line
• Punts fair caught with no rush
• Quick whistles on quarterbacks

Bucknell still has one more practice session prior to Saturday's spring game. That practice will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. inside Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.

The Bison are now just over four months from their first game of the 2012 campaign, a Sept. 8 contest at Marist. Bucknell's home opener is Sept. 22 against Patriot League foe Lafayette.
