Bucknell Football Preseason Practice Schedule

Bison's First Practice is Sunday, Aug. 7

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell football team will begin preseason camp in preparation for its 126th season on Sunday, Aug. 7. The Bison will have 22 official practices prior to the first day of classes on Aug. 24. Bucknell opens its season Sept. 3 at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium against Duquesne. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.

The Bison will have five home games in 2011. In addition to the season opener against the Dukes, Bucknell will host Marist (Sept. 10), Georgetown (Oct. 1), Lehigh (Oct. 8) and Holy Cross (Oct. 22).

Periodic preseason practice updates will be posted on BucknellBison.com. Written practice updates will typically be accompanied by video, interviews and photos. The 2011 Bucknell Football Media Guide will be posted on BucknellBison.com next week.
