First-Round Results in PDF Format

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- Charlie Waddell, Patrick Yingling and Kyle Moran all shot 75 to open play at the Lafayette Invitational on Friday, leading Bucknell to a sixth-place standing in the clubhouse at the halfway point of the tournament.

The Bison shot 304 on Friday and only trail first-place American by seven shots. The Eagles, led by a one-over-par 71 from Alex Wenzel, shot 297, with St. Bonaventure (301), Binghamton (301), Niagara (302), Siena (303), Bucknell, Delaware (307) and Robert Morris (307) all bunched within 10 strokes of the lead.

Waddell shot an even-par 34 on the back nine, tied for second-best in the field. The Bison trio who shot 75 are all tied for 14th place in the individual standings. Also for Bucknell, Alex Dolle shot 79 and Keita Aoki 83.

The 23-team field tees off again Saturday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
