STANTON, Del. -- The Bucknell men's golf team showed off some of its depth on Sunday. Resting its regular starters for the Scotty Duncan Memorial at White Clay Creek GC, junior Andrew Wallisch (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) and a host of youngsters are tied for sixth place in a field of 15 teams after one round.

In tough scoring conditions, Wallisch carded a 77, freshman Jon Hartman (Essex Fells, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) posted an 80, freshman Dan Bernard (Malvern, Pa./Malvern Prep) shot 81 and sophomore Will Bachman (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) opened with an 82.

Bucknell's team total of 620 is tied with Saint Francis (Pa.) for sixth place. Host Delaware opened with a 304 to take the 18-hole lead by three shots over George Washington.

Kevin McLister of Delaware and James Hilaire of Rutgers have the individual lead at 1-over par (73). Wallisch is tied for 10th.

The tournament wraps up on Monday morning.
