Bucknell Men's Golf Finishes Ninth at Stabler Invitational

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Bucknell University men's golf team moved up three spots from day one to finish ninth this afternoon at the Stabler Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University. After placing 12th after day one of the invitational, the Bison shot a 305 over the final 18 holes to wind up with a two-day total of 617. Senior Nick Leibowitz was Bucknell's top performer for the second day in a row, shooting a 75 for the second consecutive round to finish with a 36-hole score of 150, good for a 14th-place tie out of 99 competitors. Freshman Tyler Braun and sophomore Charles Markey each recorded a 76 on day two to finish with an identical 154 to tie for 37th place. Also adding to the team score was sophomore Scott Leeder, who tied for 63rd at 160 after a 78-stroke round on day two. Freshman Alex Dolle posted an 87 on the second day to finish in a tie for 87th at 168. The Bison wrap up their fall season on Tuesday at the Lehigh Quad. Bucknell Individual Results: T14.
