BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Tough course conditions at Saucon Valley Country Club led to high scores throughout the field at the Lehigh Invitational, and Bucknell grabbed fifth place with a team-total of 329 in Saturday's first round.

The Bison did not have a player break 80 and were led by a pair of 81s from Brian Bartow (Rye, N.Y./Rye Neck) and Rahul Desai (Avon, Conn./Kingswood-Oxford School). Stuart Lindgren (Richfield, Minn./Richfield) shot 83, Brian Poe (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Gilmour Academy) had 84 and Keita Aoki (Tokyo, Japan/St. Mary's International School) shot 85.

Penn at 308 took a nine-shot lead over Siena after 18 holes. A day of heavy rain on Friday made the course wet and long, and many holes featured very difficult hole locations.

Bucknell begins its final round at 10 a.m. Sunday.
