BALTIMORE, MD- The Bucknell men's lacrosse team currently ranked 27th in the nation in the STX/USILA Division I Poll, lost 5-4 in overtime to #12 Penn on Saturday March 11.

The Bison led 2-0 after the first quarter on goals by senior Jim Egan (Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) and junior Michael Cheng (Floral Park, NY/Floral Park). Penn scored with 3:26 to go in the second quarter to cut the halftime lead to 2-1. The Orange and Blue tallied one goal in both the third and fourth quarters. Senior Alex Gibson (Baltimore, MD/Loyola) scored at the eight minute mark of the third, while Egan notched his second goal of the game to put Bucknell up 4-3 with just under eight minutes to go in regulation. The Quakers tied the game late and scored the winner in sudden death overtime.

The Bison will host Penn at St. Paul's School in Baltimore, MD on Saturday, March 11.
