WORCESTER, MA- The 18th ranked Bucknell men's lacrosse team routed Patriot League foe Holy Cross on Saturday, April 22. The Bison, who scored the first goal of the game for the tenth time in 11 games this season, improved their overall record to 7-4 and their Patriot league record to 4-1.

Senior Brad VanNostrand (Skaneateles, NY/Skaneateles) scored the first goal of the game at 9:51 of the first quarter, and added a second in the second quarter. Bucknell had 11 players score goals and 14 notch at least one point in the game. Fellow senior Alex Gibson (Baltimore, MD/Loyola) scored two goals and one assist, including the game winner.

Freshman Justin Slama (Chestertown, MD/Kent County) also added a pair of goals. Senior Andy Smith (Canton, NY/Canton) started between the pipes and recorded 13 saves on 24 shots, allowing just three goals.

The Bison will close out the regular season against Patriot League rival Lehigh on Saturday, April 29, at 1:00 p.m.
