In 2011: Made a quick adjustment to college lacrosse and was one of the Patriot League's top offensive players as a freshman ... Started all 17 games and ranked third on the team in goals (27) and fourth in points (34) ... First of three hat tricks came in collegiate debut against Canisius ... Also had three goals against Virginia in the NCAA Tournament and in a big win at Colgate to close out the regular season ... Biggest goal of the year was his overtime game-winner to beat Navy ... Scored goals in 14 of 17 games and had 10 multi-goal games ... Tallied seven goals in three postseason games ... Picked up season-high four ground balls against Virginia ... Two-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week ... Personal: Son of Rich and Jodee Heritage ... Born Nov. 27, 1991 in New Haven, Conn. ... Has two older siblings, Brad and Dana ... Brad is a 2006 Dartmouth graduate, where he was a First Team All-Ivy League midfielder and later a pro with the Chicago Machine of the MLL ... Dana is a 2010 graduate of Middlebury, where she captained both the field hockey and women's lacrosse teams ... Todd was a prolific scorer at Cheshire High School, where he was a four-time all-conference selection, a three-time all-state pick and a two-time US Lacrosse All-American ... As a senior led his team to the Connecticut Class L state championship and was named the CIAC/CHSCA Player of the Year ... Was also the New Haven Register and Hartford Courant Player of the Year after recording 140 points on 55 goals and 85 assists ... Posted a career-high 66 goals as a junior and finished his career with a whopping 405 points on 200 goals and 205 assists ... Also played two seasons of varsity football (QB/CB) and one season of varsity basketball ... Frank Fedorjaka on Heritage: "Todd has gotten a lot better since the end of last year, and that is saying something, since he had such a good freshman year. He has worked very hard on his right hand and is an excellent finisher. He has a high lacrosse IQ. He's only a sophomore, but he has scored big goals in big games for us, and we will need him to continue to do that."
