2000: Selected to the All-Patriot League Second Team with teammate Michael Cheng... Played in all 12 games and scored two goals and two assists from his defensive position... Led the Bison in ground balls by scooping up 65 of them on the season. 1999: Played in all 13 games and scored his first collegiate goal against Holy Cross on 3/13/99. 1998: In his first season, saw contributing time and picked up one point on an assist during the Holy Cross game on 3/28/98. Personal: Son of John and Mary Jo Juelis ... Enrolled as a Political Science major ... Graduated from Westfield High School ... Earned six varsity letters for his involvement on the lacrosse and football teams... Was a first team all-state Lacrosse player in 1997 and a third team all-state Lacrosse player in 1996... Scored 26 goals in high school with his long stick ... Brothers Jay (Hobart ‘90) and Craig (Union ‘97) played lacrosse in college. According to Jamieson: “Mark is a tenacious, tough long stick defender with excellent skills. He can take the ball away from opponents and create transition. Runs the field well and has an intuitive ability to finish plays. Mark is one of the better defenders in the Patriot League. He has two goals and two assists going into his senior year from a long stick defensive position.” |
