Frank Fedorjaka on Kulczycky: "D.K. has transformed himself from a close defenseman to a short-stick defensive middie and now to a faceoff specialist. As a backup defender last year he often volunteered to help the other faceoff guys get reps in practice. He kept getting better and better at it, and now he is one of our top guys and has dedicated himself 100 percent to being a faceoff man. At 6'4" he has good size and is a tremendous athlete. He is good at tying up the other guy. We will see a number of high-quality faceoff guys on our schedule this year, and if D.K. can neutralize them he will be a very valuable player for us." |
