Bucknell Men's Lacrosse Leads Patriot League with 22 Academic Roll Selections

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bucknell men’s lacrosse team placed a league-best 22 student-athletes to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll during the 2012 spring semester. Mickey Zaverucha topped the list for the Bison with a 3.83 grade-point average.
Senior Jason Neithamer earned a 3.75 GPA to help lead the way for the Bison on the Academic Honor Roll. This is the third time in his collegiate career that Neithamer has been selected to the Academic Honor Roll. He was also selected to the 2012 Patriot League All-Academic Team.
Bucknell led all Patriot League schools with 22 student-athletes making the Academic Honor Roll. Lafayette added 20 student-athletes to the list, while Colgate followed with 19. Lehigh contributed 18 student-athletes, while Holy Cross was close behind with 17.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
