Bucknell Notes
- Bucknell is undefeated (3-0-1) in four all-time meetings with Binghamton. All four matchups have come since 2001, including each of the last two years. The Bison and Bearcats tied 1-1 in last year's season opener in Binghamton. That goal was the first Binghamton had netted against Bucknell as the Bison hold an 8-1 scoring edge in the series.

- Six of Bucknell's last seven games have gone to overtime, including all three this year. The Bison are 1-1-4 in those matches with the lone win coming against George Mason in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last year. This is the first time in program history that at least six games in a seven-match stretch have gone to overtime.

- Senior co-captain Joey Kuterbach recorded his 11th career shutout last Saturday at Duquesne. The Bison goalkeeper made three saves as he moved up to fifth place on the program's career list. He passed Paul Sinnenburg and Paul Green. Kevin Meyer, with 15 career shutouts, holds down fourth place on the list.

- Bucknell has had great success playing on its home field since 2000, the second year of head coach Brendan Nash's tenure at the helm of the Bison. The squad has posted a 35-11-9 regular-season record in Lewisburg since the beginning of 2000. The Bison compiled a 5-1-2 mark last year. Among the 35 wins and nine ties have been 29 shutouts for the Bucknell defense.

- Bucknell has posted a strong 28-16-5 record in home openers since the 1958 campaign. Over the last six years the Bison are 3-2-1 in their first home contest of the season. Last year they defeated St. Bonaventure 3-1 in their first home contest.

About Binghamton
- Binghamton, a 2006 NCAA Tournament team, like Bucknell, has opened its 2007 season with an unblemished 4-0-0 record. The Bearcats have beaten Radford, Winthrop, Robert Morris and Pittsburgh by matching 1-0 scores and are off to their best start since 1987.

- Binghamton goalkeeper Jason Stenta has recorded four shutouts this season as the Bearcats have shut out their first four opponents for the first time in 20 years.

- Four different Bearcats have scored goals this year: Darren McAllister, Matt Narode, Ryan Tomko and Josh Sailar.

Up Next
- After playing its first three games of the 2007 campaign away from home, Bucknell returns to the road for its next two contests. The Bison will play a pair of games in New Jersey over the next week. Saturday afternoon they will play at St. Peter's at 1 p.m. Next Tuesday, Sept. 18, will feature a 4 p.m. match at Rider. Bucknell's next home match is next Friday, Sept. 21, against Buffalo.
