LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell sophomore Tommy Caso (Phoenix, Md./McDonogh) earned his second Patriot League Men’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week award on Monday after helping the Bison to a 2-0 week. Caso made five saves in Saturday’s 1-0 Patriot League shutout of Holy Cross, and he was also the winning keeper in a 5-1 rout of St. Peter’s last Tuesday.

Caso made three saves against St. Peter’s before exiting early with the Bison holding a big lead. His only blemish all week was a Peacocks goal on a penalty kick.

Caso now has five of the team’s six shutouts this season, all of them coming by 1-0 margins. He lowered his goals-against average to 0.97 and upped his save percentage to .831. He now ranks second in the Patriot League game in both shutouts and goals-against average.

The Bison have now won four straight games and are 9-3 on the season. They visit Marquette for a non-conference game on Tuesday afternoon.
