LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell University is hosting its final swimming & diving meet ever at Freas-Rooke Pool on Saturday. The Bison will take on Patriot League opponent Colgate University beginning at 11 a.m.

The Bison's home swimming & diving facility for the past 46 years, Freas-Rooke Pool will give way next season to a newly-renovated, state-of-the-art 50-meter Olympic class pool in the school's new recreation and athletics center.

The inaugural meet at Freas-Rooke Pool was held on Feb. 9, 1957 against Gettysburg College.

Following the meet against Colgate, Bucknell will hold a nine-event alumni meet, featuring 39 former Bison.

Bucknell's women's swimming & diving team is off to a 3-2 start this season, and the Bison men's team is currently 2-2.
