Bucknell Swimming and Diving Heads to Harvard for this Weekend's ECAC Championships

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's and women's swimming and diving teams will continue the championship portion of their schedules this weekend when they travel to Harvard's Blodgett Pool to participate in the ECAC Championships. The Bison men placed second in the team standings at least year's ECAC Championships, while the women were seventh. The Bucknell women will enter the ECAC Championships coming off a second-place finish at the Patriot League Championships. The Bison had a program record-tying seven individual titles. On the men's side, Bucknell took home a third-place trophy, marking its eighth consecutive top-three showing at the league meet. Three-time All-Patriot League selection Mike Nicholson captured the 400 IM and 200 breast titles at last year's ECAC Championships. Overall, the Bison men had a school-record five winners as then-seniors Matthew Segar (200 free) and Eric Sokolosky (100 free) as well as the senior-laden 400 free of Taylor Harris, Segar, Thomas Brown and Sokolosky won gold medals. Courtney Warren, who won the 100 back in 2009 and 2010, is the last Bucknell women's ECAC champion.
