Bucknell Diver Adam Freeman Named to All-ECAC Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. - In honor of his championship performance at the ECAC Diving Championship, Bucknell freshman Adam Freeman has been named to the All-ECAC Swimming & Diving team, the conference announced this afternoon.

Freeman placed first out of 11 competitors in the 1-meter diving on Friday, March 1 at the University of Delaware. He recorded a gold medal-winning score of 289.45, which also reestablished his own school record.

Freeman also placed fifth in a field of eight with a score of 413.60 in the 3-meter diving. That score was the third-best mark all-time at Bucknell.

Bucknell concluded the 2001-02 season with a 3-3 record, and finished fourth at the Patriot League Championships.
