Bison Swimming and Diving to Hold Bucknell Sprint Invitational this Saturday

The Orange and Blue will be Competing against American and Villanova on the Men's Side, Women to take on American and Saint Francis (Pa.)

Junior co-captain Tyler Sowell and the rest of the Bison will be in action this Saturday in the Bucknell Sprint Invitational.

LEWISBURG, Pa. - After opening the 2006-07 season on the road last weekend, the Bison swimming and diving teams return home this Saturday, Nov. 4, for the Bucknell Sprint Invitational, which will feature American, Villanova's men's squad and Saint Francis' (Pa.) women's squad as the opponents for the Orange and Blue.

The Bison men are off to a 2-0 start after defeating Holy Cross, 155-81, last Saturday, followed by a 178-121 victory over Boston College on Sunday.

On the women's side, Bucknell will look to get back on track after a 168-132 setback against the Eagles, leaving the Orange and Blue at 1-1, with the squad's win coming by a 139-96 margin over Holy Cross.

Satuday's meet will consist of two sessions, beginning at 11 a.m. with the women's 200 freestyle relay, while the second session is set for approximately 4 p.m. The following is a complete schedule of the day's events:
