WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Junior Ira Reibeisen (Armonk, N.Y./Rye Country Day-Upper) and sophomore Jonathan Brenner (Manhasset, N.Y./Chaminade) of the Bucknell men's tennis team tallied singles victories to pace the Bison, but it wasn't enough to give Bucknell the win as itdropped its fifth straight match of the season to Marist, 5-2.

Reibeisen dropped Pedro Genovese, 6-3, 6-2, in the No. 1 singles, while Brenner notched a No. 4 singles win against Gregory Marks in three sets, 6-2, 6-7(7-5), 7-5. Brenner also teamed with sophomore Ryan Sandburg (Orange, Calif./Canyon) in the No. 1 doubles to beat Genovese and Federico Rolon, 9-7. The pair is now 6-3 in dual doubles matches.

Sandburg forced a third set in the No. 2 singles to Loic Sessagesimi, but was unable to complete the comeback as he lost 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Saturday's marked Rebecca Helt's 100th career match as the Bucknell men's head coach.

The Bison will be back in action on Monday, Mar. 12, against Coastal Carolina, in Hilton Head, S.C. The match will begin at 4:30 p.m.
