Bucknell Men's Tennis Falls 6-0 at American

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Bison men's tennis team fell to 1-13 on the season and 0-3 in Patriot League play with a 6-0 loss at American on Sunday, March 30. The match was moved inside because of rain, therefore no doubles were played.

Sophomore Joe Menezes provided some excitement at the fourth singles flight, forcing Jonah Fliegelman into a tiebreaker in the first set. Menezes eventually lost the set, 7-6 (7-0), before losing the second set 6-2.

Sophomore Gerald DiChiara played Ruben Rivero to a 7-5 loss in the first set of the fifth flight, before eventually dropping a 6-3 second set for the tough loss.

Bucknell will be in action next on Tuesday, April 1, when it hosts Lehigh at 3:00 p.m.
