Bison Men's Tennis Defeat Towson 5-1

TOWSON, Md. - The Bucknell men's tennis team traveled to Towson University to take on the Tigers on Tuesday, April 9. The Bison returned home with a 5-1 victory after playing just singles due to the inclement weather conditions. Senior Alex Davydov got the winning started for Bucknell, picking up a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 decision at No. 2 over Trey Regase. Freshman Leland Tien followed suit at No. 3, defeating Dan Selzer 6-0, 6-2. Classmate Joe Menezes picked up a 6-3, 6-4 decision at No. 4 over Chris Rowland, and junior Todd Jacobs defeated Matt Shore 6-3, 6-2. Senior Scott Allen rounded out the Orange and Blue victories, hanging on for a 6-2, 7-6 (7-0) win over Todd Nagel at No. 6 singles. Bucknell improves to 10-4 overall and is in action on Thursday, April 11, when it hosts Lafayette for a critical Patriot League match up.
