LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's tennis team (8-11) lost its home finale of the 2004 season, 7-0 to Binghamton. The Bearcats (13-7) won every doubles and singles contest, spoiling the Bison's chance at a non-losing season after finishing 7-21 in 2003.

Dan Hanegby and Steve Spencer defeated Gerald DiChiara and Aaron Saperstein, 8-4 at first doubles, while Edwin Gerard and Brian O'Connor knocked off Nick Denefrio and Asher Salam, 8-5 on court two. Krishna Vallabhaneni and Rodrigo Valle defeated Matt Kutner and Matt Pikus, 9-7 on court three for the sweep.

Hanegby made it 2-0 on the day versus DiChiara with a 6-2, 6-1 singles win on court one, while Richemn Mourad defeated Denefrio, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 at second. O'Connor also went 2-0 versus Salam on Sunday, getting a singles win 6-2, 7-6(5) on court three. Spencer beat Menezes, 7-5, 7-5 at fourth, while Gerard beat Pikus, 7-5, 6-2 at fifth and Juan Garcia defeated Saperstein, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2 at sixth.

The Bison will join the women's team on Wednesday at 4 p.m. to end both seasons at Bloomsburg.
