BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Bucknell men's tennis team completed play at the Patriot League Individual Tournament, held at Lehigh University on Saturday and Sunday, October 13-14.

At sixth singles, freshman Gerald DiChiara Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) came back from a first round loss to pick up a victory in the consolation bracket finals. He defeated his opponent from Lafayette, 6-0, 6-0. In addition, DiChiara and senior Scott Allen (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) teamed up to defeat Lafayette's third doubles tandem, 8-4, in the consolation finals match.

Bucknell is in action again on Saturday, October 20, when it hosts St. Francis (Pa.) and Niagara in dual match competition.

1. Ty Esler (Lehigh) vs. Alex Davydov (B) - 6-1, 6-2.
2. Tushar Garg (American) vs. Nick Denefrio (B) - 6-0, 6-2.
3. Ryan Collins (Lafayette) vs. Scott Allen (B) - 7-6, 6-3.
4. Rafael Albornoz (Army) vs. Todd Jacobs (B) - 6-2, 6-1.
5. Evan Ambrose (Colgate) vs. Leland Tien (B) - 6-2, 6-4.
6. Gerald DiChiara (B) vs. Devin Murphy (Lafayette) - 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles
3. Allen/DiChiara (B) vs. Matt Coin/Murphy (Lafayette) - 8-4.
