LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell tallied 17 points to finish seventh in a preseason poll of Patriot League coaches' and sports information directors' for the 2003 men's tennis season. The Bison finished the 2002 season with a 14-6 overall record and a mark of 2-3 in the Patriot League.

American, which garnered 10 first-place votes, was selected to win the annual Patriot League men's tennis championship with 69 points. Army finished second with two first-place votes and 57 points. Colgate and Navy both picked up one first-place nod and 51 points to tie for third place. Lehigh (25) edged out Lafayette (24) for the fifth position, and Bucknell (17 points) rounded out the poll.
