LEWISBURG, Pa. - Eight members of the Bucknell men's tennis team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Tuesday. That figure was the most in the league, two better than Lafayette's six.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.

Four of the eight Bison players earned a GPA of at least 3.5 to also land on the University's Dean's List.

Elsewhere around the league, American and Navy each had five Honor Roll members, while Army (4), Lehigh (3) and Colgate (1) rounded out the list.

Overall, Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 215 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll in the 14 winter/spring sports the league recognizes.

The following are Bucknell's 2006 Patriot League Honor Roll members from the men's tennis team.
