Bucknell Leads League in Men's Track and Field Academic Honor Roll Members

35 Bison Named to List

Academic All-District selection Dan Frake was one of 35 Bison men's track and field student-athletes who made the PL Academic Honor Roll.

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Thirty-five members of the Bucknell men's track and field squad were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday. The Bison led the league in honor roll selections while Holy Cross was second with 28.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.

Highlighting Bucknell's list of honorees were 2006 graduate Dan Frake (Northport, N.Y./Northport) who was recently named to the ESPN The Magazine Track and Field All-District II first team and rising-senior Joshua Kaehler (Hanover, Pa./South Western) who was one of seven student-athletes from around the league to achieve a perfect grade-point average in the spring. Frake earned a 3.66 GPA as an accounting major while Kaehler carried a 4.0 GPA in civil and environmental engineering.

Elsewhere around the league behind Bucknell and Holy Cross, Army had 26 honor roll selections, while Lafayette had 15, Navy 13, Lehigh 11, American 10 and Colgate six.
