LEWISBURG, Pa. - Thirty-eight members of the Bucknell men's track and field team were named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Wednesday. The Bison total was the highest of any PL institution as Holy Cross followed with 20 student-athletes making the list.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.

Among the honor roll members for the Orange and Blue was 2007 graduate Joshua Kaehler (Hanover, Pa./South Western), who was named the Patriot League Men's Outdoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year. In addition, his classmate, Robert Haferd (Wadsworth, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban), rising-sophomore Jason Inzana (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) and rising-senior David Mante (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) were three of just eight student-athletes on the honor roll who posted perfect 4.0 GPAs this spring. Back in April, Mante was voted the 2007 Patriot League Men's Indoor Track and Field Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He and Kaehler, both civil and environmental engineering majors, represented the Bison on the 2007 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II First Team, as well.

Elsewhere around the league behind Bucknell and Holy Cross, Army had 19 honor roll selections, while Lafayette had 13, Navy and Lehigh 11, American nine and Colgate five.
