PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Playing its second-straight nationally ranked opponent of the weekend, the Bison men's water polo team dropped a 14-9 decision to #19 Brown at the Eastern Championship on November 16. The Bears are the host school of the tournament.

Bucknell got off to a quick start again, going up 3-1 after one quarter. The lead was shortlived, however, as the Orange and Blue got outscored in each of the final three quarters, including a 6-1 difference in the second, on the way to the 14-9 loss.

Daniel Lonnerdal and Jay Danforth were the primary Bison goal scorers with three and two goals respectively. Danforth also set up the score three times, joining Elliot Benoist for team-high honors in the assist category. Lonnerdal and Bradley Roslyn also did their part in getting the team extra-man situations, recording two ejections drawn each.

Ernest Martin spent the entire game in goal for BU, stopping eight shots.

The Orange and Blue are 10-19 overall and face Johns Hopkins in the seventh place game.
