PRINCETON, N.J. -- On Saturday, September 9, the Bucknell men's water polo team lost three games at the Princeton Invitational, being held at Princeton University.

The Bison lost to Queen's, ranked 13th in the nation, by a score of 12-3. The Orange and Blue then fell short to Iona for the second time this season by a count of 7-5. Scoring for the Bison against Iona was senior captain Justin McCarty (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) and senior James Miante (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) with two goals a piece and classmate Tate Greditzer (St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs) with one score. Greditzer also had three assists, along with junior Ryan McCarty's (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) one.

Senior captain Kevin Permisohn (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) had four steals in the contest, while sophomores Daniel Lonnerdal (Davis, Calif./Davis), Chris Saxton (Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto) and Greditzer all had one. Junior David Kennedy (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) was credited with six saves.

In their last game of the evening, the Bison fell to the 16th-ranked Princeton Tigers, 12-1. Justin McCarty scored Bucknell's lone goal of the game.

The Orange and Blue are 3-4 and face Johns Hopkins on Sunday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m.
