COLLEGE MEN'S WATER POLO -
Bucknell Takes Ninth at Navy Invitational
vs. Salem-Teikyo - W, 13-4
vs. Navy "B" - W, 11-5

ANNAPOLIS, MD -- The Bucknell men's water polo team has captured ninth place at the Navy Invitational, held in Annapolis, MD, on Saturday and Sunday, September 2-3.

The Bison went 1-1 on Saturday, losing to Iona, 16-2, before defeating the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, 10-3. On Sunday, the Orange and Blue picked up a 13-4 victory over Salem-Teikyo, and finished the weekend with an 11-5 win over the Navy "B" team.

Senior Tate Greditzer (St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs) led the way offensively on Sunday, scoring three goals in both games. He also added five assists against Navy "B". Junior goalie David Kennedy (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) was solid in the net, stopping 20 Salem-Teikyo shots, while recording 17 saves against Navy "B".

The Bison improve to 3-1 overall and are next in action at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, September 9-10.
