First Two Days Of North/South Invitational Tough On Bucknell

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell men's water polo team suffered three losses on Friday and Saturday, September 29-30 at the North/South Invitational at Princeton University.

On Friday, the Bison fell 13-6 to St. Francis (NY), the 15th ranked team in the nation. Senior co-captain Kevin Permisohn (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) led the way with three goals.

The Orange and Blue then took on #14 Queens in the first game of Saturday, falling in a close one, 8-7. Senior Tate Greditzer (St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs) and junior Ryan McCarty (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) had two goals each in the contest. In their final game of the day, Bucknell fell to #10 Massachusetts, 13-11. Greditzer had another solid game with four goals, while McCarty added three scores.

The Bison fall to 10-9 and conclude the weekend with a 12:00 noon game against Brown on Sunday, October 1.
