Weekend Ends On A Positive Note With Victory Over Brown

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell men's water polo team ended the weekend on a positive note, defeating Brown, 12-8, on Sunday, October 1, at the North/South Invitational at Princeton University.

After falling to three nationally ranked teams on Saturday - #15 St. Francis (NY) 13-6, #14 Queens 8-7, and #10 Massachusetts 13-11, Bucknell bounced back to defeat Brown and improve its record to 11-9 overall.

Senior Tate Greditzer (St. Louis, Mo./John Burroughs) and junior Ryan McCarty (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis Country Day School) led the way offensively for the Orange and Blue, scoring three goals each. Senior James Miante (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) led the team with three assists, and co-captain Kevin Permisohn (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) recorded a team-leading five steals.

The Bison are 11-9 overall and compete at Southern Division league games on Saturday and Sunday, October 7-8.
