Bison Men's Water Polo Player Ernest Martin Earns CWPA Player of the Week
Sept. 12, 2002 LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore men's water polo player, Ernest Martin (Winchester, Calif./Perris), has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Player of the Week for the week ending September 8. In the first full start of his career, Ernest had ten saves in a win over MIT that included several one-on-none blocks. His solid four quarters were critical in holding off a late MIT rally. For the weekend, which included three starts for Martin, he tallied 20 saves for the Orange and Blue
The Bison are 1-3 overall and are in competition next at the Princeton Invitational, held on Saturday and Sunday, September 14-15. BU's first opponent is Queens at 9:00 a.m. on September 14.
