Bison Men's Water Polo Player Jamie Saettele Earns CWPA Player of the Week
Sept. 19, 2002 LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior men's water polo player, Jamie Saettele (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis), has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Player of the Week for the week ending September 15. Saettele, a two-meter player for Bucknell, scored 13 goals and had five assists in four games at the Princeton Invitational. Saettele scored a team-high four goals against both Iona and St. Francis on the weekend. He ended the weekend with a three goal two assist performance in a 12-9 victory over Merchant Marine.
The Bison are 2-6 overall and are in competition next when they play host to the first set of Southern Division League Games at Franklin & Marshall on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22. BU's first opponent is George Washington at 1:00 p.m. on September 21.
