Danforth Named to Eastern Championship All-Tournament Team
Nov. 21, 2003 LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Jay Danforth (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) has been named to the Eastern Championship All-Tournament team, announced at the conclusion of the Eastern Championship on November 16, 2003. Danforth earned a spot on the team for the first time in his career after scoring eight goals in three games for the Orange and Blue. In addition to his offensive efforts, which included four ejections drawn, the defensive specialist tallied five of his 79 steals on the season during the weekend.
Bucknell went 1-2 at the tournament, finishing seventh in the East. The Bison ended the year with a 10-20 overall record.
