2009-10: Wrestled exclusively at 197 pounds for the first time ... posted a 16-11 record, including 9-5 in duals ... built a 16-8 record after going 6-1 in a seven-match stretch from mid-January to mid-February ... lost final three bouts (vs. American, EIWAs) of season to finish 16-11 ... 7-2 in bonus-point matches ... 9-9 in matches decided by decision ... defeated No. 17 Lamar Brown of Rutgers for only victory in five tries over a ranked opponent ... defeated teammate Joe McMullan in finals of season-opening Navy Classic to claim 197-pound title ... also posted wins at the Cliff Keen Invitational and Midlands Championships.
