About the EIWA Championships
This year's EIWA Championships, the 105th, are hosted by Penn March 7-8 and will take place at The Palestra. A total of 14 teams are in the EIWA. Cornell has won the team championship the last two years, while Lehigh won it the previous five years. Tournament brackets are expected to be released Friday evening.

Bucknell Individuals at EIWA Championships
Five of Bucknell's projected nine wrestlers at the EIWA Championships have previous postseason experience. Current Bison have combined for a 19-15 career mark at the EIWA Championships. Bucknell has never had an individual champion at EIWAs.

Bucknell's EIWA Championships History
Bucknell first joined the EIWA in 1999-2000 and has wrestled at the EIWA Championships five times. The first year the Bison competed they were not awarded team points. Since then, they have finished 10th, 12th, ninth and eighth.

NCAA Qualifiers from EIWA Championships
The EIWA will have 38 automatic qualifiers for the NCAA Championships, which will take place March 19-21 in St. Louis, Mo. Fifty-two additional at-large qualifiers who do not earn automatic berths will be selected at the conclusion of all conference tournaments. The at-large qualifiers will be announced March 11.

Bucknell's NCAA Qualifiers
Bucknell has had three NCAA qualifiers each of the last two years. The most the Bison have ever had in one year was five in 1989. Juniors David Marble and Andy Rendos will attempt to become the first three-time NCAA participants at Bucknell since Bobby Ferraro went four consecutive years (1992-95). Bucknell has had 54 individual berths in the NCAA Championships all-time.
Individual Ranked Opponents
Bucknell wrestlers will see plenty of ranked opponents at the EIWA Championships. The nine Bison entrants in the EIWAs combined to go 7-40 when facing a ranked individual. David Marble, Kevin LeValley and Andy Rendos combined for all seven victories.

Top 10s
Three Bison wrestlers have etched their names into the Bucknell record books this season. Juniors Andy Rendos and David Marble rank eighth and ninth, respectively, on the program's career wins list. Additonally, Rendos stands sixth in career winning percentage. Freshman Derek Reber is listed in a tie for third on the single-season duals wins list with a 16-4 record this season.

Bucknell faced seven ranked teams this year. The Bison were 0-7 in those matches, but 11-2 against unranked opponents.
Bucknell posted an 11-9 record during the regular season. The win total is tied for the second-most in program history.
Bucknell head coach Dan Wirnsberger ranks second in program history with 32 wins. He owns a 32-29-2 record in his three seasons at the helm of the Bison.
Andy Rendos and Derek Reber both finished the regular season with perfect 8-0 marks in EIWA duals.
Bucknell has seen its conference record improve from 3-3-1 in 2006-07 to 4-4 in 2007-08 to 5-3 this year.
Bucknell's wrestling program was brought back to varsity status prior to the 2006-07 season, four years after it was discontinued.
