LEWISBURG, Pa. - The 2005 Bucknell women's basketball alumni game was played at Sojka Pavilion on Saturday, February 19, and behind a balanced scoring attack the White Squad came away with a convincing 51-29 victory.

As a guest participant in the game, current Bucknell softball coach Heather Rakosik had the hot hand, leading all scorers with 19 points. Current women's basketball assistant coach Jackie Smith chipped in with nine points for the winners (and an unofficial 20-plus rebounds), while Hall of Famer Ann (Kirwin) Anderson '87 had seven. Cammie (Reinhart) Rowntree '85 also had seven points, while Hall of Famers Stacey (Spitko) Reeder '88 and Karin (Wegener) Knisely '79 scored five and four points, respectively, to round out the points for the White team.

Jennifer (Walz) Lapioli '89, a Hall of Famer and Bucknell's second-leading all-time scorer, led the Blue team with 16 points. Scoring was hard to come by for the Blue squad, but women's basketball assistant Lauren Rigney tallied three points and classmates Carolyn (Gates) Connors '85 and Cindy (Huebner) Fagan '85 each added a pair.

Following the game everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves at a reception in one of the Sojka Pavilion suites prior to Bucknell's contest with Army later that evening.
