LEWISBURG, Pa. – For the first time in program history, Bucknell women’s basketball will host a Patriot League Tournament game when they welcome Army at 7 p.m. on Saturday to Davis Gym. The fourth-seeded Bison clinched their first-ever home-court advantage in the postseason after winning four of their last five games, including a pivotal season-finale with the Black Knights last weekend.

Tickets are now on sale to the general public at all Campus Box Office Locations: at the Weis Center from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.; at the CAP Center located on the 1st Floor of the Elaine Langone Center from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.; and at the Barnes and Noble at Bucknell University on Market Street in Lewisburg from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except Sunday hours are 12:30-4 p.m.). All tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans are also able to purchase tickets over the phone by calling the Box Office at 570-577-1000, or by going online http://www.bucknell.edu/Boxoffice.

Quarterfinal tickets for the women’s tournament are $6 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. All seats in Davis Gym will be general admission.

Please note that Bucknell staff and faculty must purchase a game ticket for admittance. A limited number of free tickets for Bucknell students will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis compliments of the Bucknell Office of the President.

The women’s tournament moves to a home-site format identical to the men’s event for the first time in 2011. The Bison secured the No. 4 seed with a 44-40 victory over Army at West Point last Saturday. Due to the previously booked EIWA Championship in Sojka Pavilion March 5-6, Bucknell’s showdown with the Black Knights will return to historic Davis Gym.

Bucknell closed out the regular season with a 10-16 overall record and a 7-7 mark in the Patriot League. On Tuesday, Cosima Higham was named Second Team All-Patriot League and Shelby Romine was voted to the Patriot League All-Rookie Team.
