At Bucknell: Lisa played in 16 of 20 games her first season demonstrating exceptional athleticism and potential to make her mark in the scoring column when all is said and done. Following a very successful spring campaign in2001, Lisa is expected to compete for a starting role on the forward line. She has demonstrated exceptional quickness and her first step is the quickest on the team. The strength of her game rests in her ability to eliminate opponents and create numerous scoring opportunities. Her confidence is soaring after a spring season that saw her develop shooting skills and refine her scoring touch. Loaded with exceptional offensive abilities, Lisa has demonstrated outstanding defensive instincts - a key as she'll be expected to press opponents defensively and take advantage of any miscue. Personal: A graduate of Selinsgrove High School, having played for coach Cathy Keiser. According to Lewis: "I'm as anxious about Lisa's sophomore season as I have been for any young player to come through my program. She demonstrated such improvement this past spring and has gained confidence in her talents. I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa were to be among the leading scorers in this league...her potential is immeasurable! Even more impressive is the fact that she may have some of the best defensive instincts and abilities on our team. She is developing into a complete player." |
