According to Coach Lewis: "Alex is possibly one of the most gifted athletes I have ever coached. Her acceleration is outstanding and her open-field speed, especially with the ball, makes it very challenging on opposing teams' defenders. Each season Alex has increased her scoring output and I expect 2006 to be no different. She is one of those rare athletes that can single-handedly take over a game...she's that talented." As a Junior: Led the team in scoring with 24 total points on seven goals and 10 assists ... her 10 assists tied a Bison record for most assists in a season ... she had two game-winning goals against Siena and Lafayette ... was named first team All-Patriot League ... recorded 28 interceptions and 39 positive tackles. As a Sophomore: Was named Second Team All-Patriot League ... led the team in scoring with seven goals and eight assists for a total of 22 points ... her 22 points was good enough for 10th best in the league ... she was ranked sixth in the league in assists and fifth in assists-per-game ... was the team's primary inserter on penalty corners ... started in all 19 games ... had a season and team-high three assists in one game versus Saint Francis (Pa.) ... recorded 17 interceptions and 29 positive tackles ... her six total points in the Siena game and three assists against Saint Francis (Pa.) were tied for league-best "individual game highs".
