According to Coach Lewis: "Katie was such a pleasant surprise for us last season. Now that she's had a full year of fall and spring hockey under her belt, you can tell she's much more confident on the field. I think it took her the entire year last year to get back `in form' regarding her hockey skills. She's an amazing athlete and, having watched her compete last year, it comes as no surprise that she's been able to compete in two different sports (field hockey & lacrosse) at the Division I level. After watching Katie perform in the spring, she's going to be a valuable member of our attacking unit. She's a strong midfielder but her tenacity up front in the scoring circle is equally significant. We'll be able to move Katie around a bit and having that flexibility as a coach is a tremendous asset."
