LEWISBURG, Pa. - Eleven members of the Bucknell field hockey team were recognized today by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association for their academic performance. A total of 73 schools nationally had at least one athlete on the honor roll, comprising a total of 502 athletes honored.

Student-athletes needed a minimum 3.30 GPA over the fall semester to qualify for recognition. Bucknell's honorees were: Meiko Boynton (Bernardsville, N.J/Pingry), Stephanie Cabral (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury), Callista Costopoulos (Shermans Dale, Pa./West Perry), Emily Groendyke (Glen Gardner, N.J./Voorhees), Roxannah Hunter (Lititz, Pa./Warwick), Kelly O'Brien (Rye, N.Y./Rye), Heather Rogers (Wyoming, Del./Caesar Rodney), Kate Ruda (Mountaintop, Pa./Crestwood), Cara Turner (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) Jenni Turner (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) and Katie Urosevich (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg). All 11 were recognized on the Patriot League's Academic Honor Roll last month as well.
