Bucknell Field Hockey Game Scheduled for Radio Broadcast
Sept. 29, 2004 LEWISBURG, Pa. - As Bucknell field hockey prepares for a full weekend of action, it was announced that Sunday's matchup against Indiana is set to be broadcast locally in the Lewisburg area on 1380-AM WMLP and aired free of charge on the internet at www.SportsJuice.com. The game is slated to begin at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, at Graham Field; radio coverage will kick off at the start of the contest. Doug Birdsong, the play-by-play voice of the Bison Network, will call Sunday's matchup. Sunday's contest will be Bucknell's second home game on the weekend. The Bison are set to play Patriot League foe Colgate on Saturday, Oct. 2, beginning at 12 p.m. at Graham Field. Indiana is the first of two Big Ten opponents coming to Lewisburg to play the Bison this season. Bucknell will face Penn State later this month, on Oct. 26, at Graham Field.
The Bison, currently 4-6, 0-1 PL, will try and rebound from a tough 1-0 loss to La Salle on Tuesday night.
