KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland) posted her second straight round in the 70s to lead Bucknell on day two of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic on Monday. The Bison had three very good scores in round two but had to count a fourth score in the 90s and finished with a team total of 332, seven strokes higher than round one.

Jurenovich carded a 78 on Monday after opening with a 77, and she is tied for 51st place in a field of 215 players. The Bucknell sophomore made nothing worse than bogey on the par-72 Oak Point Course, shooting 39 on each side.

Freshman Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) shot an 80, a round that might have been spectacular if not for triple bogeys on holes 9 and 14.

Classmate Kelsey Meybin (Midlothian, Va./Saint Gertrude) posted an 81 and had the highlight of the day with an eagle on the par-5 4th hole. Meybin was even par through 12, then found some trouble over the last seven holes.

Also for Bucknell, junior Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) shot 93 and freshman Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) 97.

Miami (Fla.) is at 605 (300-305) through two rounds and has a one-shot lead over East Tennessee State. Central Arkansas is in third, five shots back, in the 43-team field. Bucknell sits in 35th place with a 36-hole total of 657. The Bison are two strokes ahead of South Carolina Upstate, and they also lead Wofford, Bradley, Old Dominion, Southern Illinois, Marshall, Mercer and The Citadel.

Nebraska's Mary Kate Bird, Florida's Jessica Yadloczky and Central Florida's Elisa Aoki are tied fir first place at 2-over par, with four more players just a shot back.

Bucknell will be back on the Oak Point Course for Tuesday's third and final round. There will be a shotgun start at 9:15 a.m.
