PRINCETON, N.J. -- Sophomore Kelsey Meybin (Midlothian, Va./Saint Gertrude) posted a career-best, 3-over-par 75 to lead the Bucknell women's golf team to a solid 313 score on Saturday in the first round of the Princeton Invitational at Springdale Golf Club. The Bison are in fourth place out of 12 teams, three shots ahead of Richmond and five clear of host Princeton.

Harvard opened with a 301 and leads by four shots over both Penn and Rollins. Bucknell is fourth, followed by Richmond, Princeton, Lehigh (325), Georgetown (328), St. John's (328), Fairleigh Dickinson (335), Walsh (344) and Monmouth (384).

Meybin's 75 has her in a tie for fourth place, three shots behind individual leader Anna Jang of Princeton. Meybin had plenty of help, as Katie Jurenovich (Warren, Ohio/Howland) and current Big South Player of the Week Minjoo Lee (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) both carded 78s. Leah Antkiewicz (Aliquippa, Pa./Quigley Catholic) followed with an 82, and Brittany Rendell (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier) shot 86.

Round two is scheduled for Sunday morning.
