COLLEGE WOMEN'S GOLF: Bucknell Plays Tough But Falls To The Mountaineers and the Red Flash

Lewisburg, Pa. --- The Bucknell women's golf team hosted a dual meet this afternoon with Mount St. Mary's and St. Francis (Pa.). Playing through tough winds and competition, the team shot a little short of their competition.

Coach Jamieson fielded a new set of golfers this afternoon. Leading the way for the Orange and Blue was junior Bridget O'Mara (Medford, N.J./Bishop Eustace Prep) shooting a 95 on the windy Bucknell Golf Club. The Bison shot a team total 403, coming up short to St. Francis' leading 322 and Mount St. Mary's 398.

The women's golf team will have a little over a week to prepare for the Princeton Invitational on September 30 and October 1. The tournament will be played on the 6017-yard Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.
