LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's golf team's annual fall tournament, the 36-hole Bison Invitational, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-9, was canceled Saturday morning due to the steady rain that has saturated most of the Northeast since Friday.

Youngstown State, Penn, Coppin State, McDaniel College and the University of Toronto were scheduled to compete, along with the host Bison. Play was slated to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.

Despite missing out on its only home event of the fall season, Bucknell will be back in action close to home next weekend, Oct. 15-16, when it travels to nearby State College, Pa., for the Penn State Invitational.
