Frederick, Md. --- Despite three of five golfers finishing with season best 36-hole totals, the Bucknell women's golf team completed its fall season this afternoon with a disappointing final round in the ECAC Open Championship, finishing in 11th place out of 13 teams (672). After shooting a team total of 332 in the first round, the Bison had some ground to make up on the second day but were unable to do any better in the wet conditions, shooting a final round 340.

Finishing as low medallist for the Bison most of the season and the same today, sophomore Molly Campbell (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater) recovered after a first round 84 by shooting a solid 79 in the less than desirable conditions. In fact, Campbell was so steady this fall that she was low medallist for the Orange and Blue in all five tournaments she competed in.

The Bison linksters finish the fall season on a low note but have plenty to look forward to when the ground thaws in the spring. Coach Jamieson will have the women's golf team thirsty for victory when springtime rolls around.
